When the Nielsen grandparents were here a couple of weeks back now, the kids and I did a lot of traveling with Lynne. Some of those travels were field trips - a great way to gain a little more information for our "year round home schooling" - actually, the timing just worked out well, though we do take the year round approach. After all, learning happens all the time, any place!
