Children's Museum

Okay... first, there are way to may pictures to blog about.... Heather, I'll be happy to send you a CD with everything I have!

Since it seems we never get to visit with Heather in her neck of the woods, we decided it was time for a field trip. We spent the day/night with Heather and went to the Children's Museum. We also tried to go to the Marine Science Center - but what we wanted to do didn't work out that time around. We'll try that another time - maybe with more hands! ;)

Anyway, here's some of the fun we had - the kids especially enjoyed the "farm area", the "fire truck" and the "water fall, rapids" thing. Jeremy loved the log to boards machine and Peter didn't want to leave the space shuttle. The girls thought the world area was pretty neat - but it was very educational and there were many other "play" areas to visit. They did come back to it a couple of times though. Peter just loved to climb... and run the hay bales! The girls had fun doing everything - and getting their faces painted right at the end!

We also had the were able to be present for a mini creature feature where we learned about the Barred Owl. It was neat... the kids enjoyed themselves.... I posted pictures of that part on our home school blog - Fly Away Home!
