What a wonderful morning! Due to the storm yesterday, school was delayed (1 hr for Bob, 2 hrs for Gabi). The kids were able to enjoy their valentine gifts from grandparents and parents this morning instead of this afternoon!
Yesterday afternoon was spent making valentines. Jeremy and Beth made all that were needed for church on Sunday, while Gabi spent her time making her valentines for school today. You'll notice the picture.. these were a sample of what hers ended up looking like. Yes, complete with cookie pops!
The kids have decided they want a pancake dinner. Once they are done and into bed, Bob and I will have a real adult meal... maybe by candle light. This is, after all, the first valentine's we've spent together since we got married! He's always been working at the restaurant, and this time he told them he wouldn't be available! Isn't he sweet? I didn't ask, I just assumed he'd be working again. So, Happy Valentine's Day to me! :)
