Baseball Season

Baseball season has officially begun in our neck of the woods! Gabi has never had the opportunity to play T-Ball since there was not a program for it here last year and she was too young when we lived in the other house. But, this year they've kicked up the program. Two different aged baseball teams, a softball team and a T-Ball team! Gabi is 6, which means she could play T-Ball or the first baseball team. She's playing baseball! (She needs the games, and T-Ball doesn't do games up here).

Tonight was her first practice. With three feet of snow in most places and nothing less than two and half feet around here, they held practice in the gym of her school. It went well... and considering she knew nothing about the game or the practices, she seemed to catch on quickly! She's almost the smallest person on the team... I think there is one boy who is her same height. It will be fun and exciting, and if all goes well Bob will be helping out!

Beth and Jeremy want to know why T-Ball hasn't started yet! I told them they'd have to wait until the snow left the field! They don't like to wait. Since T-Ball here is for ages 3-6, Beth was excited to know she'd get to do a sport. And since they need parental help, I asked if Jeremy could do it this year even though he doesn't turn three until the end of the season. They said he could... the Peter can be in the sling and I can help out!
