The unforgettable, all-kids-say-it, makes the parent laugh and then get irritated because somehow the kids-really-believe-it saying! No day is complete without those dreadful words "It's boring!"
So, what do kids do when they're bored... they find ways to get into trouble.... when you're my kids (or rather, Bob's kids) you pick and poke and annoy laughing all the way!
So I say to Jeremy "You need to leave Bethie alone now. Why don't you come in the other room so you won't have the temptation."
I go in the living room hoping he'll follow me.
Enter Jeremy. Places both hands on hips. Stomps right foot. Tries to make a grumpy face.
"IT'S BORING not bothrin' Bethie!"
(Can you tell I'm still laughing?)
