I'm a mother, a wife, a daughter, and crafter. He's a father, a husband, a son, a coach, and teacher. They are dancers and soccer players; sisters and brothers. They are sons and daughters whom we try to raise through good examples to be the best they can be. They love sports and learning; exploring and playing. We experience happiness and sadness. We are constantly growing. We are learning to serve. We are friends.

Gabi's Party
As I had mentioned in an earlier post, Gabi's party had been postponed due to illness. Well, I ended up the worst off by this past Friday, and was functional on three different meds on Saturday. Not enough to do the snow volcano we had originally planned, although we certainly have the snow still for it (at least 3 feet still). We tried to talk Gabi into postpone again, but she crumpled and so we fought our way through it Saturday afternoon.
She ended up with just a few friends from school, they made a clay volcano, which we baked and then set off with baking soda and vinegar. They colored pictures of volcanoes and dinosaurs and cut them out.
Had cheese cake (in the shape of a volcano) with strawberries dripping all around for the lava. We tried to make dinosaur ice cream pops, but the ice cream was too soft. It was much quieter than Gabi parties tend to me, but it went well enough considering!

Sounds like fun. I am sorry I missed it.
