A while back, Peter received a Fisher-Price Ball Popper toy. He loves it! So does everyone else. Everyone, that is, except Mom and Dad at the very moments we hear "it's broken again" coming from the kids. Until that moment, even Mom and Dad can enjoy it because it has an amazing way of giving us a little "quiet" time from the kids' noises (although it has a noise all its own).
So, the "it's broken" does not, in fact, mean that it's really broken. But rather, that some kid (Peter, if we're naming names) finds random items that seem small enough to fit, make them fit, and then finds out that the air meant to blow the balls back out isn't strong enough to blow out whatever else he's found to put down the tube! We just disassemble, and put it back together. The kids (again, this means mostly Peter) are beginning to realize that only certain things can "fit" and should be put down the tube.
Tonight, this included a new "toy".... a crumpled piece of junk mail. One of those flier cards. To Peter's wonderful delight, this "toy" was light enough to find it's way out. But, due to the nature of the crumpling, it only worked when the ball came up from behind it! Thought you might enjoy seeing this. It was so much fun the first few times, but I didn't have the camera. So, you'll get the joy of seeing two movie clips. The first because it shows his delight with the air blowing out over his own face! And then the second because you can see how he makes it all work.
Since the camera was out, you'll also hear the "jealous" brother wanting his fair share of the lime-light too! Ahh... the stage where cameras are still enjoyed!
