Eating dinner with the Missionaries last night, Bob was sharing some of the "climate" of where he served in Chile. The easy comparison was "Los Angeles". Here's a bit of what followed:
Gabi: Why? What happened to it?
Me: What happened to what?
Gabi: What happened to Los Angeles?
Bob: Nothing. It's just like where I was on my mission.
Gabi: Then why is it called Lost Angeles?
The correction and translation were then given with many laughs all around - even from Gabi!
That is cute... I love how kids get a different perception of stuff than we do sometimes. Makes life interesting! :)
